From the sinking of the world to the war against the World Government, Oda set up everything that will eventually unfold here. However, one thing that fans might not be paying attention to is the deal between Blackbeard and the Navy.

As was started by Teach previously, he intended to offer Koby to the World Government as a trading chip. In return, he wanted the Pirate Island to be recognized as a nation in the One Piece world, making him its King and the country would even be eligible for the Reverie. Of course, this deal was bound to fail as Koby was a part of SWORD, which meant that technically, he wasn’t a part of the Navy anyway.

However, now, Teach has access to Garp, a far bigger Hero and someone who the Navy cannot ignore. The negotiations between Teach and the World Government will begin soon and lead to the greatest war since the Paramount War.

The Pirate Island War will be fought by the likes of the Blackbeard Pirates and the Navy, including Marine Admirals, and potentially even the Serpahims. At the same time, fans will likely see the involvement of other Yonko in this war. Buggy is one to watch out for, as he might team up with Blackbeard due to both of them having a common enemy.

Shanks is on the lookout for Teach, so he could show up here as well, and finally, Luffy is bound to show up, especially since it is his grandfather’s life that hangs in balance. This war could potentially see all the Yonko fight a chaotic battle, as the Navy and the World Government try their best to rescue Garp. Undoubtedly, it is going to be an absolutely massive war, and one that will have huge repercussions, and all fans need to do is wait patiently for Oda to focus on the events outside of Elbaf.
