Hyrri’s Ire Armoured Vest is a Unique Body Armor in Path of Exile 2. Thanks to its ability to emulate the effects of the Acrobatics Keystone passive without the downsides, Hyrri’s Ire is considered one of the most desirable Unique items to own.
Understandably, finding a Hyrri’s Ire is not easy, requiring players to either get extremely lucky or open their currency wallets and cough up the Divine Orbs needed to make a purchase.

How to Get Hyrri’s Ire in PoE 2
Hyrri’s Ire can be obtained in one of three ways in Path of Exile 2:
- Random drop from enemies
-
Using an
Orb of Chance
- Trade with Other Players
Random Drop
Hyrri’s Ire is a part of the global item pool and starts dropping from Level 75+ enemies. This means players will only be able to hunt for this item in Tier 11+ maps. There is no way to target farm this item except by increasing the overall drop rate and rarity of all items through item modifiers and juiced Precursor Tablets.
Orb of Chance
Using an Orb of Chance on an Armoured Vest has a very low chance of turning it into a Hyrri’s Ire. However, this is an extremely rare item, and the probability of obtaining it through this method is astronomically low.
Trade Market
The best way to obtain a Hyrri’s Ire is by buying it on the official PoE 2 trade site in exchange for currency. Do note, however, that because this is an incredibly rare and valuable item, it can cost in the ballpark of 100 Divine Orb
s with good rolls, depending on the meta.
How Does Hyrri’s Ire Work in PoE 2
Hyrri’s Ire has the following fixed modifiers:
Hyrri’s Ire Mods |
---|
(30–40)% increased Elemental Ailment Threshold (100–130)% increased Evasion Rating Adds (13–20) to (21–31) Cold damage to Attacks +(30–40) to Dexterity 25% increased Chill Duration on Enemies Can Evade all Hits if you have not been Hit Recently |
The very first question that pops into the head when reading the description of Hyrri’s Ire is: does this item make you impossible to hit? The answer: no, it does not. On the surface, the modifier “Can Evade All Hits if you have not been Hit Recently” seems to indicate that if you don’t take damage for a certain period of time, you become impossible to target by enemies, but that’s not the case.
Can Evade All Hits does not mean that your Evasion percentage will reach 100% (Evasion is hard-capped at 95%), but it means that the nature of attacks you can dodge using Evasion now covers “all Hits.” By default, Evasion only allows players to dodge certain types of “Hits,” called Strikes and Projectiles. However, because of “Can Evade All Hits”, it now applies to all sources of damage that are considered Hits in PoE 2. Now, a character will be able to apply their Evasion percentage to Slams, AoE attacks, Strikes, and Projectiles. This basically covers all types of damage in the game except damage over time (DoTs).
The word “Recently” mentioned in the modifier indicates a period of 4 seconds. So, if you have not been Hit by an attack for 4 seconds, the effect “Can Evade All Hits” will be applied. But if you have been Hit within the last 4 seconds, it won’t.
Hyrri’s Ire’s effect is the same as the one applied by the passive Keystone Acrobatics, but it doesn’t come with the downside of 70% Reduced Evasion.
Do note that “Can Evade All Hits if you have not been Hit Recently” does not increase the Evasion rating; it only changes how the Evasion you already have works. That said, Hyrri’s Ire itself is an Evasion body armor that automatically increases your Evasion Rating by a certain amount when equipped, and the modifier (100–130)% increased Evasion Rating adds to that.
Elemental Ailment Threshold has been explained in detail in this guide.
