RuneScape: Dragonwilds is an open-world survival game that follows a lot of trends from similar games within the genre, and that includes hunting down adorable little animals for their fur. How to Get Coarse Animal Fur in RuneScape: Dragonwilds
Coarse Animal Fur is obtained by defeating animals throughout the wilds of Ashenfall in RuneScape: Dragonwilds, particularly small ones like Kebbits and rats. Chickens and cows can also be encountered while exploring, but they don’t drop Coarse Animal Fur. Instead, the former drops Feathers and the latter drops Animal Hide, so they can be safely ignored if players don’t need either of those. Feathers are good to stock up on for bow users, however.
Kebbits are the best bet for Coarse Animal Fur farming since they’re exceptionally weak and very common, making them easy prey even for undergeared players. Finding Kebbits can be a hassle, though, but there are a few spots where they tend to spawn in large groups.
The best place to find Kebbits in RuneScape: Dragonwilds is the forest near the Wise Old Man in Bramblemead Village. There’s a goblin camp nearby that dissuades players from venturing in that direction, but there’s usually a group of grazing Kebbits just off the road. Kebbits also like to explore the ruins of Bramblemead Village itself, so check the rundown buildings and surrounding streets for any stray creatures. The initial spawn area in the Temple Woods region is also home to plenty of Kebbits. All of these locations are great for leveling Woodcutting as well.
Goblins and rats can also drop Coarse Animal Fur, so combat-oriented adventurers can wait until nightfall for rats to spawn or head out into the world in search of goblin camps. The rats directly drop the material when killed, while goblins drop an item called a Goblin Pack that must be opened by right-clicking the icon to gain access to the goods held within.
As long as players take the time to defeat goblins, rats, and Kebbits on their travels, they should eventually amass quite a collection of Coarse Animal Fur for all their crafting needs. RuneScape: Dragonwilds continually introduces all sorts of new crafting materials as players branch out into new regions, though, so the grind never truly stops.
