Muscular

A Sinister Villain In It For Pleasure Instead Of Power

Muscular in My Hero Academia

  • Worst Act: Killing Water Horse

Muscular’s first appearance is one of Deku’s most challenging fights in the entire series. The fight-hungry vagrant is a powerhouse whose quirk allows him to manipulate his own muscle fibers, granting him incredible strength. However, instead of facing a worthy opponent, Muscular takes pleasure in destroying the weak.

There is no limit to how far Muscular will go, from slaughtering women and children to torturing his victims in front of their families. Muscular is the epitome of despicable, and one of the most hated villains in the series.

Bakugo

A Hero Whose Attitude Ruins His Efforts

Bakugo Motivations

  • Worst Act: Bullying Deku Izuku

Bakugo is a student much like Deku, who is attending UA academy and on his way to becoming a prominent hero. Unfortunately, Bakugo’s personality is as explosive as his quirk, and rubs people around him the wrong way.

Bakugo is quick to anger and yells more often than speaking in a normal tone of voice. There are not a lot of likable traits to him as a character. Perhaps the most heinous aspect of Bakugo is his relentless bullying of Deku, which lasted from early childhood to their time at UA. Bullying is an unacceptable act, and even with an apology, Bakugo will have to wear the shame of his insecurities for life.

No character is more evil than a character who facilitates evil. Dr. Garaki was a sinister reveal in My Hero Academia as a man who has been aiding All For One for hundreds of years. Dr. Garaki’s servitude to the demon lord All For One involved kidnapping, the harvesting of quirks, human experimentation, and much more that would turn the stomachs of most fans.

3

Re-Destro

An Ultimate Narcissist

Re-Destro was overshadowed by the threat of Shigaraki and the League of Villains. However, the man behind the Meta Liberation Army is a sadist of an individual. While he does genuinely believe in a better world for people with quirks, that is where Re-Destro’s reasonable traits come to an end.

1

All For One

The Demon Lord Himself

All For One summons various quirks in his fingers (My Hero Academia)

  • Worst Act: Started the Quirk War

All For One has been the darkness creeping around the world for over one hundred years. As the self-proclaimed demon king, he revels in being the villain that the heroes rally against, only to fall one by one and become a footnote in his legacy.

While most villains’ motivation involves power and control, the sadistic All For One does it out of want. He wants to be the bad guy, the source of fear in the world, and he commits the most ruthless acts possible to do so. All For One has ended many lives and nearly fractured entire countries before being stopped by All Might. While a terrific villain, it’s pretty easy to hate All For One.
