Learn how to Cook in RuneScape: Dragonwilds with this complete guide to level up one of the most useful skills in the game.
But finding it can be quite complicated, especially if players don’t know where to find it. However, in this guide, we will reveal how to get and craft the strongest bow currently available in RuneScape: Dragonwilds.
How To Obtain Hunter’s Stagbow Recipe In RuneScape: Dragonwilds
The Hunter’s Stagbow is a Tier 4 Special Bow, meaning that it carries an extra effect. In this case, it has a perk that decreases draw time considerably, making it the fastest bow in the game. To get this bow, players need to find its recipe, which is a world drop from Tier 4 Garou Hunters. They can be found in three different locations: Stormtouched Highlands (center and north side), Bloodblight Swamp (Southern fortress), and Fractured Plains (Northeastern side, next to the Dragonkin Vaul).
The trick is that players need to kill many of these enemies before they drop a Lore Fragment called ‘Vestige: A String of Sinew.‘ Once players learn the recipe from this object, they will be able to craft the Hunter’s Stagbow at the Smithing Anvil.
How To Craft Hunter’s Stagbow
To craft the strongest (so far) bow in the game, players will need to collect certain special materials: 18x Antlers, 6x Ram Horns, 4x Swamp Threads, 6x Jade, and 4x Vault Shards.
Antlers can be obtained by hunting Deer all across Ashenfall. They’re relatively easy to kill with a regular bow. Just mind to aim to the head, because otherwise, players will end up chasing them all around.
Ram Horns are dropped by Rams that lead Sheep herds in the Stormtouched Highlands. While farming horns, be careful of the falling lightning, and mind the Dire Wolves and Tier 4 Garou Berserkers, Thane, Druids, and Hunters.
Swamp Thread is obtained by processing Swamp Plant (obtained in the Bloodblight Swamp) in the Spinning Wheel. Each unit of Swamp Plant yields one Swamp Thread, so players will need 6. Remember to bring anti-poison potions to counter the swamp’s hazard.

Jade can also be obtained in the Stormtouched Highlands, by mining Iron Ore Veins. Using Rocksplosion can speed up the process exponentially, to consider bringing some Fire and Earth runes to make things faster.
Finally, Vault Shards can be obtained inside Vaults. There’s one Vault per zone in RuneScape: Dragonwilds, and players can get the shards from chests, from the Vault Guardians, Sentinels, and Archons.
Once players get all the mats they need, they should go back to the Smithing Anvil and put them to good use. With the Hunter’s Stagbow finally in their hands, they will be able to face the most challenging enemies, including the vicious Dragon Lord that roams Ashenfall and is causing players so much hurt from the minute they step on these lands. The Hunter’s Stagbow is also a great weapon to kill Abyssal Demons from a safe distance, so if players are also aiming to obtain the Abyssal Whip, this weapon will help them get the mats with ease.
