Doom has made its WWE Wrestlemania debut on Sunday night. In front of 60,000-plus fans in Las Vegas, Nevada, WWE star Drew McIntyre entered the arena for his match against Damien Priest in a Doom Slayer-inspired attire.
In addition to his attire, there was also a set piece that included the Doom Slayer mask as well as his Shield Saw.
You can check out the full entrance from the event in the video below. Also, if you were wondering, McIntypre’s opponent Damien Priest was played to the ring by, coincidentally, Slayer’s Kerry King. Oh, and McIntyre won the match.
As you can imagine, the themed entrance was part of a cross-promotion between WWE and Microsoft/Bethesda for the upcoming release of Doom: The Dark Ages. The game is scheduled to be released on May 15 for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC, and via Xbox Game Pass.
