Based on the first impressions, Rematch has the potential to become one of the biggest games this summer. Here is everything you need to know about signing up for the beta, including when the next beta starts.
EA FC is the king of soccer simulation titles, but that hasn’t deterred competitors. Rematch is the latest contender to throw its hat into the ring. Instead of pursuing the hyper-realism that EA FC achieved, Rematch opts for an arcade, easy-to-pick-up and play approach.
You can play 3v3, 4v4, or 5v5 online, and matches typically last only a few minutes. You don’t have to worry about stoppages halting the flow because there are no fouls, offside calls, and the ball bounces off the walls like Rocket League. Let’s jump right into how you can join in on the fun.
Rematch Beta Registration Explained

Players can register for the second Rematch beta on the official website.
The first beta exceeded expectations, as Sloclap announced that over 1.3 million players signed up. After getting our hands on the game, we praised Rematch for being everything a sports game should be.
Here is a step-by-step guide on how to complete the process.
- Go to the Rematch website.
- Select whether you want beta access on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, or Steam.
- Enter your email address, first name, and Country.
- Opt in or out of newsletters.
- You will receive a confirmation email.
When is The Next Rematch Beta?
On Discord, Sloclap announced that the next beta will be held in May, but did not provide a specific date.
The beta will only be available on Steam. The developers announced that a console beta is still to be determined, and an official announcement will be made if this changes.
Console players don’t need to wait much longer, even if they don’t end up getting beta access, because Rematch officially launches on June 19.
Before the first closed beta, Sloclap released an update to address community-requested issues; therefore, expect a similar update before the second closed beta begins as well.
That’s everything you need to know about signing up for the Rematch beta. For more on upcoming games, check out all of the leaked Elder Scrolls Oblivion Remastered Editions, every confirmed course in Mario Kart World, and the release date for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves.
