Marvel Rivals has an abundance of skins available to customize your favorite characters, and not all of them require splashing the cash. If you’re looking for a snazzy new look, we’ve got a list of all the free Costumes available in the game.
Skins, called Costumes in Marvel Rivals, come in various forms, with new creations that have debuted in the game to iconic looks from Marvel’s illustrious history of comics and designs straight from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
We’ve got all the details you need to make sure you don’t miss out on any awesome freebies up for grabs.
All free Marvel Rivals Skins
Plenty of Marvel Rivals Costumes are available for free through various means, although some will require a subscription to other services. We expect more to be added over time, so keep checking back to this list to make sure you’re not missing out!
Some Costumes were exclusive to participants in the Closed Alpha and Closed Beta sessions, so you can’t claim them anymore, while the Peni Parker VEN#M Costume is free to PS Plus subscribers, but you can purchase it on other platforms with in-game currency.
Magik – Retro X-Uniform
Fresh from the season two Battle Pass, Magik’s retro X-Uniform rolls back the years and provides a comic-accurate look for several X-Men characters. However, this one is available for free this season, so don’t miss out.
Iron Fist – Immortal Weapon of Agamotto
Iron Fist has already received a couple of free skins in Marvel Rivals but the newest, provided in the free tier of the season two battle pass, is perhaps the best of them all—combining the power of the Iron Fist with the sorcery of Doctor Strange.
Scarlet Witch – Chaos Gown
Scarlet Witch players rejoice, as there is a new free skin available and all you need to do is play matches. For a limited time, playing nine matches provides this awesome skin to utilize.
Mantis – Flora Maiden
Another event reward in Marvel Rivals that provides a free skin, the Flora Maiden skin for Mantis is a great look. Grab it before time runs out, however, as otherwise it’s gone for good!
Namor – Will of Galacta
A new season means new Twitch rewards to unlock by watching Marvel Rivals action, with Namor taking center stage in season two. Once you watched the required number of hours, the Will of Galacta costume is granted for free—along with a Spray, Nameplate, and Emote.
Spider-Man – Scarlet Spider
Have you ever met Kaine Parker? Now you have. In this skin, which is PlayStation Plus-exclusive, he uses the Scarlet Spider moniker, after Ben Reilly before him.
Peni Parker – VEN#M
Another PlayStation Plus-exclusive free skin, you can buy this on other platforms in the store.
Star-Lord – Jovial Star
You can earn this free skin by completing in-game achievements, with the Jovial Star outfit unlocking once you have secured 400 points in the Heroic Journey section.
Storm – Ivory Breeze
Storm’s white outfit can also be found within the Heroic Journey achievements, unlocking once 200 points in the section have been earned.

The following skins were previously offered for free but are now unavailable. It’s unclear whether they will ever return.
How to get free Skins in Marvel Rivals
The method of claiming free Costumes in Marvel Rivals varies depending on the reward. For example, the Spider-Man Scarlet Spider Costume will be automatically granted to you when you first log in on PlayStation, while you need to claim the Storm Ivory Breeze and Star-Lord Jovial Star Costumes in-game once you have met the requirements.
If you are a returning player from the Closed Alpha or Closed Beta Test, the Venom Cyan Slash and/or Scarlet Witch Moonlit Witch Costumes should be immediately available in your account. As there is no cross-progression, you won’t be able to claim this reward on a different platform yet.
As a result, the Scarlet Witch Moonlit Witch Costume is currently PC exclusive, as the Closed Alpha Test was limited to just PC players. It may be possible to get this skin on consoles at a later date if cross-progression gets added, though only if you already have the reward on PC.
