It’s not entirely difficult to get the Skeleton Key in Oblivion Remastered, but players are going to need to know the exact steps to claim this grand relic that will aid every journey that they venture on. Whether it’s unlocking doors or chests, the Skeleton Key will come in handy for every encounter.
How to Get the Skeleton Key in Oblivion Remastered
In order to get the Skeleton Key in Oblivion Remastered, players must first reach Level 10. Then, they must obtain the Nocturnal quest by heading to the Shrine of Nocturnal, which is located on the north road of Leyawiin at the Nocturnal Shrine. Once at the Nocturnal Shrine, interact with the stone statue of Nocturnal to hear her voice, where she will instruct players to find the Eye of Nocturnal.
Players must now head to the town of Leyawiin, where, inside, they can enter Weebam-Na’s House, located near the middle of the town. Before players enter, it’s important to be in stealth, as they will need to eavesdrop on Weebam-Na and Bejeen, the two Argonians. If players fail to sneak and listen to their conversation, then simply leave the house and wait outside for a few hours before attempting it again. Doing so correctly will reveal that the Eye of Nocturnal has been stashed inside Tidewater Cave.
Tidewater Cave is located at the very south area of Leyawinn by Topol Bay, and once inside, players will be met with a hostile Kalperklan Troll and a Dire Wolf. Inside Tidewater Cave, players will want to take the first left, and then the next left, where they will be able to dive in the water and find the Eye of Nocturnal in the waterlogged cave.
Once players pick up the Eye of Nocturnal, it’s time to head back to the Shrine of Nocturnal, where, upon interacting with the stone statue, players will be awarded the Skeleton Key to keep forever.
