How to Catch Legend in Stardew Valley
As we said, Legend can only be caught once in Stardew Valley. The exception is Multiplayer, in which each player can catch it once. In any case, you can spend entire in-game years searching for this fish. And all this because to catch a Legend in Stardew Valley, you need to meet the following conditions:
- First and most important, you must max your Fishing Skill. Of course, reaching level 10 takes a long time. Therefore, you better be patient and fish more often. Alternatively, you can use Fishing Buffs.
- You should go fishing in the Spring season. Apart from this, players need to wait for rainy weather.
- You should only fish in The Mountain Lake.
Luckily, you don’t have to look for a specific tile on the map for the last requirement. Instead, fish wherever you want at The Mountain Lake. But remember that Legend will only spawn in fishing zone 5. In other words, the Bobber must be 5 or more tiles away from the land.
If you meet all of these conditions, including rainy weather, then there is approximately a 10% chance that you will catch a Legend in Stardew Valley. Therefore, with proper luck, you may only need a few tries to achieve this. To accelerate the process, we recommend using Curiosity Lure.
How to Get More Legend
You can only catch one unique Legendary fish in Stardew Valley with a fishing rod. But before you do, there are a few tricks you can use to get a lot more Legend fish.
The first way is to pan with the Fisher enchantment. This enchantment gives you a 10% chance to get a fish from the current area as a reward. So by fishing with this method near Legends, you can catch an unlimited number of them.
The second way is to use Challenge Bait. Although it is a bit tricky to use, players can catch up to three of the same Legendary fish at a time with it.
