RuneScape Dragonwilds is a pretty beginner-friendly game, especially for players who don’t have experience playing survival RPGs. However, some of its complex mechanics and difficulty scaling can become overwhelming for players. So, using mods is a great way to change up the gameplay and make some harsh aspects of RuneScape Dragonwilds more forgiving. Here are some of the best mods that you can try and make the game even more fun.

RuneScape Dragonwilds: How To Unlock & Craft A Storage Crate
Storage crates help players store and organize all their items in a safe place, here’s how to unlock and build them in RuneScape Dragonwilds.
The Packmaster
The Packmaster is a mod by DMVoidKitten that alleviates the worry of keeping your weight in check while you hoard items. The mod has different variations for players who either want a complete weight overhaul or want to make weight management slightly easier. It’s a really helpful mod for players who often find themselves over-encumbered after picking up a bunch of items that they’ll need down the line.
Here are the different variations of the Packmaster mod.
- Packmaster’s Favor: Increases max stacks for consumables and resources by five times and reduces their weight by 50%.
- Packmaster’s Blessing: Increases max stacks for all consumables and resources to 9999, without altering their weight.
- Packmaster’s Embrace: Increases max stacks for all consumables and resources to 9999, and nullifies their weight, essentially eliminating the over-encumbrance mechanic.
Spell Cooldown Remover
Spells are really fun to use in RuneScape Dragonwilds, but some of them have pretty long cooldowns. If you’re one of those players who rely on utility spells when you’re gathering resources, try using Evoe’s Spell Cooldown Remover mod. It will completely remove the cooldowns from utility spells, allowing you to worry only about runes.
No Structure Damage
There are randomly occurring events in the game where players can either get attacked by a warband of goblins or get a surprise fly-by from the dragon. This will often happen when you’re chilling inside your base and can cause it to get damaged. To avoid having to repair your buildings every other game session or so, you can make them indestructible by using the No Structure Damage mod by Mathayuss.
Disable Events
If you’re sick of warbands attacking you, a pack of goblins chasing you with their hunting party, or the dragon annoying you while you’re out and about, the Disable Events mod by Evoe is for you. After installing this mod, the random events in RuneScape Dragonwilds will completely stop, allowing you to have a more productive day without looking over your shoulder.
World Save with All Items
Gathering resources in enemy territory and then making complex crafting materials out of them can make you wait to try out a particular gear piece or weapon. However, players can use the World Save with All Items mod/save file from ValykaiHyena to experience all the resources, weapons, recipes, armor, and more that RuneScape Dragonwilds has to offer.
You’ll simply put the save file in the game’s save directory and load it into the developer map world to find a large structure filled with every item in the game. If you want, you can even store a particular item in your character and bring it back into your own world.
