Electro Giant Overview in Clash Royale

Electro Giant is a 7-elixir Epic card that targets enemy buildings. It’s used mostly in beatdown decks because of its impressive health pool. However, unlike traditional beatdown win conditions in Clash Royale, Electro Giant has a unique ability to reflect damage to nearby troops whenever enemy troops attack it.

On top of dealing damage, the reflected zap from Electro Giant also applies a mini-stun and attack reset on the enemy troop. This makes it extremely effective against swarm troops like the Skeleton Army or Goblin Gang. The reflected zap also damages the Princess Towers and defensive buildings.

The Electro Giant’s damage reflection doesn’t work when it’s frozen with the Freeze spell.

At tournament levels, Electro Giant has 3855 hitpoints and deals 163 damage on attacks. The card has a higher health pool compared to the Goblin Giant but deals less damage. However, the reflected damage makes up for its subpar attack. On top of that, the attack reset also makes it a direct counter to anti-tank units like the Mighty Miner or Inferno Dragon. The card pairs well with the Tornado spell since you can use it to reposition enemy troops so that they get taken out by the Electro Giant’s reflection damage.
