If you are trying to find the fastest way to level up in Oblivion Remastered, we can help. These tried and tested strategies also let you maximize your attributes in only a few hours of playing this brand-new version of the classic RPG.
Of course, there are other, more nefarious ways to level up quickly with the help of Oblivion Remastered console commands and cheats. For the rest of us who don’t want to cheat and be eligible to get achievements, but still wish to exploit in-game systems and get tons of stats quickly, here are some tips for the fastest way to level up in Oblivion Remastered.
Tips for leveling up quickly in Oblivion Remastered

Everything about the original version of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion remains the same functionally, and this includes the fastest way to level up. Power leveling has an obvious upside, in that your overall attribute stats are significantly better in the early game.
The fastest method is to select Athletics as one of your major skills and just keep running everywhere. If you find a pool and swim in one direction for an entire night, you should level it up very quickly. Jumping on the spot with Acrobatics as a major skill also helps, as each leap gets you closer to leveling up.
There is a downside to this, however. Just because your level is decent, your skills are wildly out of proportion. So while your Athletics and Acrobatics may be well over par, you still hit like a wet noodle if you try to swing a weapon against a much higher-leveled enemy. It’s better to try to evenly distribute your skills so that you can master magic or become more proficient with weapons and armor.

For every level increase, you’ll get 12 virtues to allocate to up to three attributes. You can raise all attribute types by up to five points with five virtues, except for Luck, which costs four virtues to increase by a maximum of one point.

- Intelligence – determines maximum Magicka, allowing you to cast more powerful spells.
- Willpower – determines how quickly you regenerate Magicka. Greatly increases your maximum fatigue.
- Agility – affects the amount of damage you deal with daggers, shortswords, and bows. Slightly increases maximum fatigue and determines how quickly you regenerate it.
- Endurance – greatly increases maximum health and determines how quickly you regenerate health outside combat.
- Personality – affects how much people like you, leading to better information-gathering and trade deals.
- Luck – affects almost all skills to determine their chance of working. Having Luck over 50 influences events in your favor, while having Luck under 50 influences them against you.
