Bend Studio has enjoyed a nice resurgence in recent years with the Syphon Filter games on PS Plus. But the company hasn’t developed a new title since 2019’s Days Gone. There’s no word on a Days Gone sequel yet, but we won’t scoff at Days Gone Remastered.

Does Days Gone Remastered Have a Physical PS5 Disc?

There is no physical PS5 edition of Days Gone Remastered with a disc.

The only way to play Days Gone Remastered is by owning a copy of Days Gone on PlayStation 4. Neither Sony nor Bend Studio has announced a physical PS5 disc yet, but it could always come later.

How to Upgrade to Days Gone Remastered on PS5

You need to own a physical or digital PS4 copy of Days Gone and pay a small fee to upgrade to Days Gone Remastered.

If you’re unsure, here’s what you need to do and how it works:

1. Purchase a second-hand physical copy of Days Gone.
2. Or buy it digitally from the PlayStation Store.
3. Now, upgrade your purchase from the PS Store’s Days Gone game page.
4. It costs $10.
5. Once you complete the purchase, you can download the PS5 version, and you should have access to all of the Days Gone Remastered upgrades.
