Fortnite players can expect a Winter Soldier skin as part of the upcoming Marvel’s Thunderbolts update. The character was announced alongside White Widow, who you can earn by participating in the Thunderbolts Cup.
However, this is easier said than done. Here’s how to get the Winter Soldier and White Widow skins in Fortnite.
How to get Winter Solider skin in Fortnite

Epic will add the Winter Soldier skin to the Fortnite shop on April 30, but the price for the skin remains unknown. While he will need to be purchased, his fellow Thunderbolt teammate, White Widow, can be acquired for free.
How to get White Widow for free in Fortnite

To get the White Widow skin, you’ll have to find a reliable partner and play Battle Royale Duos. You can only participate in Build Mode as the Thunderbolts Cup in-game tournament is only available in this mode. Playing on other modes will not count towards earning the skin. Earning the skin won’t be easy, and you will have to be confident in your skills. Your group has to be a top performer in the Thunderbolts Cup tournament in your region to earn it.
Like other Fortnite events, you will only have about three hours and a maximum of 10 matches to earn as many points as possible. To earn the “White Widow (Pen & Ink)” in-game outfit, you must rank among the first 100 or 1,000 people in your region, depending on your region, by earning as many points as you can. If you’re playing in the North American Central server, you must place within the top 900 players in the tournament. If you’re playing in the EU, you must place in the top 1,000 players.
You will only earn points in the Thunderbolts Cup tournament if your group ranks within the top 25 in your lobby. Placing in the top 25 will earn you two points, with each rank above that netting you an additional two points as you climb, up until the top three, which will earn you more points. Earning a Victory Royale will net you 65 points.
You can also earn other cosmetics by competing in the tournament. You can get the Winter Soldier Wrap by earning eight tournament points and the White Widow Wrap by earning 40 points. Other accessories included in the upcoming Thunderbolts update include Winter Soldier’s back bling, pickaxe, and standalone remote.
