Interacting with the various characters in Lost Records: Bloom & Rage is always a priority, as it entices players to explore every nook and cranny of the game’s environments. After all, doing so can lead to uncovering new secrets and supernatural truths about Velvet Cove. However, it’s not always the dramatic moments that make big differences; sometimes it’s simple favors and interactions that can ripple deeper into the game.
One particular instance of this in Lost Records: Bloom & Rage is helping Pam out early in Tape 2 by finding a missing book of hers. If you’re not sure where to find it, or how to stumble across this interaction, this guide can help explain how to do it.

Who is Pam in Lost Records: Bloom & Rage?
Pam is a character that Swann first meets in Tape 1 of Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, after arriving at Blue Spruce Bar in the present to meet up with Autumn and Nora. A local librarian and friend of Gus’s, she warmly welcomes Swann and, during further dialogue, reveals an interest in supernatural occurrences around Velvet Cove, and in general.
Early on in Tape 2 (Scene 4), as Swann arrives at Blue Spruce Bar to clean up the mess after their concert the night before, a younger Pam can be seen sitting on the trunk of one of the cars in the parking lot. She’ll call Swann over to talk to her about the previous night’s events and even voice her support for the concert.
At a certain point, she’ll mention that she lost a beloved book of hers called ‘The Night’s Dark Kiss’ somewhere in the area. While this isn’t a requirement to progress the story, it’s a kind favor to Pam that helps maintain their friendship, and you can take care of it before moving on to the cleaning objective or finishing the ‘Consequences’ Memoir.
Where to Find Pam’s Lost Book in Lost Records: Bloom & Rage Tape 2
To find Pam’s lost book, you thankfully won’t need to venture too far. In the same parking lot, look for the dumpsters lined up on the far left side. Head to the one closest to the bar gate until it gives you an ‘Examine’ option, which will allow you to look inside.
Pam’s book ‘The Night’s Dark Kiss’ can be seen in the dumpster, next to the discarded soundboard. Aim the camera at the book until it gives the ‘Pick Up’ prompt, then take it out to put it in Swann’s inventory. Return to Pam and give her the book, to which she’ll respond gratefully. There won’t be an achievement to unlock for this unspoken task, but it helps keep your friendship with Pam in good standing. Once it’s done, you can then focus back on the story’s next objectives.
