If you thought Marvel Rivals couldn’t get any more quirky, hold your horses. A new meme-worthy game mode called the Giant-Size Brain Blast is coming to town, all set to give your favorite heroes a size boost to their heads.
Besides the core modes, Marvel Rivals has hosted three time-limited event modes so far, each offering a unique casual experience beyond the usual cutthroat competitive games. Not only are these events a lot of fun, but they also offer unique rewards. Giant-Size Brain Blast is no different, so if you’re looking to grind this mode in Marvel Rivals and earn all the rewards, this guide is all you need.
Marvel Rivals Giant-Size Brain Blast mode release date

The Brain Blast event mode in Marvel Rivals is set to go live on April 25.
Since it’s a limited-time event, Brain Blast will eventually leave the playlist, but NetEase hasn’t revealed the exact end date for it. Considering previous trends, we can expect it to remain available for approximately two to three weeks, so be sure to collect the rewards by then.
How to play Marvel Rivals Giant-Size Brain Blast mode
You can queue for Brain Blast like you do for any other game mode in Marvel Rivals: Select the Play button, choose the mode under the Rivalry section, and then select Start.
If you’re wondering what the experience is like, it’s the same as a Conquest match, but heroes will have giant wobbly heads instead of the normal ones you see in any other mode. As the heads move and you take on enemies, you’ll hear fun sound effects too. NetEase hasn’t revealed everything about the Brain Blast mode yet, but it certainly looks like the big heads are more than just props.
All rewards in Marvel Rivals Giant-Size Brain Blast mode
Not everything about the Brain Blast mode in Marvel Rivals is light-hearted. For starters, there’s a leaderboard, and those who top it will earn some exciting rewards. You can also earn a free emote by completing missions.
Leaderboard rewards

If you want a Competitive-like experience with your favorite heroes and their big, shaky heads, you can play for the Giant-Size Brain Blast leaderboard and earn some fun titles. Here’s the rank requirement and the corresponding title you can earn for it:
Rank | Title |
---|---|
Top 10 | Plant-Sized-Brain |
Top 100 | Monster-Sized-Brain |
Top 500 | Giant-Sized Brain |
Every hero has their own leaderboard in the Brain Blast mode, so you can earn these titles for whoever you like. For example, if you reach top 500 with Iron Fist, you’ll earn the “Giant-Sized Brain Iron Fist” title. Reach top 10 to unlock all the titles for Iron Fist. After you complete the challenge for one hero, you can start playing another and earn titles for them too.
Free emote
This one’s easy: Just complete 10 Giant-Size Brain Blast games to earn the free Brain Blast emote in Marvel Rivals.
Unfortunately, you can own this emote for only one hero among six eligible ones: The Punisher, The Thing, Thor, Winter Soldier, Venom, and Wolverine. So, choose wisely.
