Overwatch 2 Season 16 Twitch Drops Include a New Legendary Skin

Overwatch 2 has kicked off a Twitch Drop campaign to celebrate the launch of Season 16, featuring the Ice Princess Symmetra Legendary skin and a matching Spray and Player Icon. From now through May 6, players can earn these new cosmetics by watching nine hours of any Overwatch 2 streamer on Twitch.

Season 16 of Overwatch 2 is officially live, opening up the Stadium game mode to the world alongside Competitive Hero Bans and Freja, a new damage hero. The big update also added tons of new cosmetics to the Battle Pass and shop, including a handful of royal skins for heroes like Lifeweaver, Genji, Hanzo, and Mercy.

Overwatch 2 reveals all of the Items and Powers players can customize their heroes with during the Stadium game mode debuting in Season 16.

However, fans can get their hands on one of these regal skins for free without even playing Overwatch 2. From now until May 7, players can earn the Ice Princess Symmetra Legendary skin by watching nine hours of any Overwatch 2 streamer on Twitch. Along the way, they will also unlock the Ice Princess Jewel spray and Ice Princess Player Icon at the two and five-hour mark respectively, ensuring fans can give their accounts a royal flair to match the new skin.

How to Get Overwatch 2 Season 16 Twitch Drops

• Connect one’s Battle.net and Twitch accounts
• Watch any streamers in the Overwatch 2 category on Twitch from now through May 6, 11:58 PM PT to earn the following rewards:
  • 2 hours: Ice Princess Jewel Symmetra Spray
  • 5 hours: Ice Princess Symmetra Player Icon
  • 9 hours: Ice Princess Symmetra Legendary skin
• Once complete, claim rewards from the Twitch Drops inventory
• Claimed cosmetics are automatically unlocked in Overwatch 2

Ice Princess Symmetra is a recolor of the Figure Skater Symmetra skin added to the original Overwatch back in 2018. Featuring a pink and sky-blue color scheme over the green one of its predecessor, Ice Princess Symmetra has never been available in the game before, so fans of Overwatch 2‘s Vishkar prodigy likely won’t want to miss out on these Twitch Drops while they are available for free.

Players looking to pick up more free cosmetics don’t need to look far. Stadium: Initiation is a season-long in-game event Overwatch 2 is holding to celebrate the eponymous new game mode. Fans have over two months to play Stadium matches and complete challenges to earn tons of rewards, including multiple Name Cards and Icons, plus a Weapon Charm, Player Title, an Epic and Legendary Loot Box, and the Stadium Rookie Soldier: 76 skin – not to mention plenty of Battle Pass XP. With the Gundam Wing x Overwatch 2 collaboration coming sometime in the next several weeks, there should be no shortage of ways for fans to earn tons of free stuff in Season 16.
