Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is one of the best Call of Duty games in years. Its combat is highly polished, its game modes are enjoyable, and the visuals and sound design are top-notch. Updated April 19, 2025, by Tom Bowen: With the Tribute event requiring players to earn XP to unlock rewards, many had been hoping that the devs would announce a new BO6 double XP weekend to go along with it. Sadly, that hasn’t been the case, although the rate at which players earn Gobblegums in Zombies will at least be doubled between now and April 21. We’ll continue to monitor the situation on the off chance that double XP gets added to the mix as well, but for now, we’re working on the assumption that this weekend is 2X GobbleGum earn rate only.

The next Black Ops 6 double XP weekend will take place between April 18 and April 21. Start and end times vary by region, although players will be guaranteed at least 96 hours of double GobbleGum earn rate regardless of where they reside.
