Gunko is a very interesting One Piece character. She hides her real identity.

Despite that, some fans are upset the Straw Hat Pirates couldn’t do anything to them in the most recent chapter, One Piece 1146.

Some One Piece Fans Are Upset About The Newest Chapter

Gunko Overwhelmed Jinbe, Nami, Usopp, and Brook

The newest One Piece chapter, One Piece 1146, was quite an incredible chapter. Continuing the story in Elbaf, the hype is only getting stronger with every new release. While many loved this chapter, it didn’t come without its share of controversy, this time aimed at the Straw Hat Pirates crew.

In this chapter, the Holy Knights, the main group of villains for this arc, were seen going into action, with some even coming across the beloved main crew.

What really upset some fans is Gunko, the woman among the Holy Knights who possess the Aro Aro no Mi, taking on the crew. Gunko truly showed in this chapter why the Holy Knights aren’t to be messed with, as she singlehandedly took down four members of the Straw Hats, including one of the strongest ones.

Indeed, Gunko took down Nami, Usopp, and Brook, who are fairly decent fighters in their own right, but while that can be excused, she also dealt with Jinbe. What shocked fans really was how easily she took care of Jinbe Jinbe, the fourth strongest Straw Hat Pirate.

However, this is no shortcoming from Jinbe’s side. Gunko is simply that powerful, and if anything, should be compared to the likes of Loki and Admirals, or be even stronger, with her infinite regeneration. There was simply nothing Jinbe or the others could have done. As of right now in the story, even Luffy can’t take Gunko down, as he doesn’t have the right ability to counter her regeneration.

Nico Robin and Chopper Hide from Sommers

Fans Are Also Annoyed By Robin’s Portrayal

Aside from the Gunko incident, fans are also upset about other Straw Hat Pirates who hid from another Holy Knight. Sommers is another member of the Holy Knights who went into action and took down Saul, and instead of helping Saul, Robin and Chopper hid inside his hair. Fans were quite upset at this development, but it’s unrealistic to expect Robin and Chopper, who don’t even possess Haki, to take on an Admiral level opponent.
